Taoufiq Izeddiou

Living and working between Marocco ad France, Taoufiq Izeddiou is choreographer, teacher and artistic director of the Cie Anania and the festival “On Marche” in Marrakech. Between Africa and Europe, he creates works that explore the tensions between tradition and modernity, the individual and the community, and searches for a new interpretation of dance.

In 2007 Toufik is invited for the first time for the Moussem festival with the production Déserts Désirs. In 2009 Moussem presents the production Aataba. In 2011 Moussem supports the Production Aaleef. In 2012/2013 Taoufiq is artist in residence for the Moussem co-production Rêv’illusion. In 2015/2016 he resides for the creation ‘Devine qui vient danser ce soir’, a duo with Meryem Jazouli.
