A publication released as part of the exhibition and residency project of the same name, in collaboration with the Boghossian Foundation – Villa Empain.
We must now urgently rethink our bonds - bonds which allow us to remain in a circle of influence with each other - and their alter ego exile. De liens et d’exils emphasises the artistic practices which help establish bonds between different contexts. Travelling between North Africa and Europe in a hyper-connected world, each of the invited artists is permanently linked to multiple historical and cultural benchmarks.
