Nabila Halim is a Moroccan multidisciplinary artist currently living in Brussels. Her artistic practice is autofictional: she draws on her own experiences and weaves around them, whilst leaning on writings (social sciences), everyday inspirations and ordinary conversations. She uses creation as a language to forge connections with those around her, to give form to painful experiences and as a catalyst for action. Her creations take many forms: photography and installation, writing and cooking, conversation and DJing. Her work has recently been exhibited in Athens (Art Explora 2025), Brussels (VK 2024), Tangier & Oujda (Moussem Transnational Stories 2024), at the Centre Photographique de Marseille (Festival Parallèle 2022). Nabila Halim is also a founding member of the Noss-Noss collective (FR) and the Coming Soon collective (BE), which develops culinary, musical and visual programmes addressing the collective challenges of transculturality and its sharing.
