El Hadji Malick Ndiaye - Moussem Cities Dakar

El Hadji Malick Ndiaye holds a PhD in Art History from the University of Rennes II in France. He is currently a researcher at IFAN / University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (UCAD). Ndiaye teaches at the Department of Philosophy at UCAD, at the Higher Institute of Art and Culture and at the Department of Heritage Skills at Gaston Berger University. He is also the artistic director of the Biennale de l’art africain contemporain edition 2022. In addition, he is a curator, art theorist and specialist in postcolonial studies and African heritage. In his talk, he focuses on the history of contemporary Senegalese art.
