Open Studio Noir, je bois du blanc

As Mbaye Diop concludes his cross-residency at Moussem, he invites you to a performance lecture titled Noir, je bois du blanc. This unique event features a reading from his upcoming book of the same name, where Diop reflects on his European experiences and contrasts them with his African roots. The book serves as the foundation for this performative piece inspired by the cinematic style of Wes Anderson.

The lecture takes place at La Signare, a Senegalese restaurant in the vibrant Matongé neighborhood. The restaurant will remain open, creating an immersive atmosphere where audience and diners come together.

Accompanied by music from Moussa Niang, inspired by Senegalese Salimto, this promises to be a thought-provoking experience.
